Important Information
Please make sure you take your passports with you while you are travelling to Morocco.
Friends and family who have a European or British passports do not need a Visa to travel to Morocco. However; if you are a holder of any other different passport kindly check if you need a visa before travelling.
Moroccan sim card
We advise you to first check your phone’s operator offer for the period you will be staying in Morocco, if you do not think it is convenient then when you arrive at Tangier’s airport, once you are done with the passport control; at the exit of the airport you can find some people who will give you a Moroccan SIM card for free, you have to give them a picture of your id as a proof that you got the SIM card, when you insert it on your phone, you can buy a 50 DHs Top up (5 Euro) from an off-licence shop of the same company of the sim card, you can ask him to help you do it by activating internet on your phone.
In Morocco the currency is Dirham (10 Dirhams is equivalent to 1 Euro).
Exchanging money: You can withdraw money directly with your ATM card from a Moroccan bank.
The bank that charges the cheapest commission is CDM Credit du Maroc.

You can mover very easily and economically with a small blue taxi in the city, you can track the price of the trip from the counter. You just stop by the road and wave to the blue taxi to stop and simply communicate where would you like to go.
Temperature: The average daytime temperature in Tangier during October ranges from around 20°C to 25°C However, temperatures can vary, and it’s advisable to check closer to your travel date for more accurate forecasts.
Make sure you take a jacket with you for when it is windy and/or for the evening.
